UNDERWRITER REPRESENTATIVE
My959, Hawaii's Electronic Dance Music Station, is a non profit, locally owned and operated radio station seeking an energetic, fun and friendly, highly ethical, and self-motivated individual for the position of Underwriting Account Executive. My959 has extremely loyal listeners with no competition within our music format. The results for advertisers through our website, our online streams, and over the air on 95.9 FM have been highly effective for our advertisers. Thus far, all advertising dollars and donations received have been unsolicited. This is an excellent, untapped, earnings opportunity for the successful applicant. The job description for the position of Underwriting Account Executive include:

*Establishing initial contact with potential advertisers/underwriters via email, telephone, and/or in person.

*Securing donations from advertisers/underwriters in exchange for on air acknowledgments, website streaming and banner advertising, social media marketing and email marketing campaigns.

*Maintaining ongoing relationships with advertisers/underwriters ensuring their continued support of the station by assisting them in meeting their promotional goals.

Experience Preferred: 3 or more years of sales and/or marketing experience preferred with a successful record of revenue growth within a media organization.

Compensation will be commensurate with performance.

MY959 STREET TEAM
Be part of the My 95.9 Street Team!  Help spread the word about dance radio all over Oahu.  Our target areas are downtown, Chinatown, Kalihi, Ward, Kakaako, Ala Moana, Waikiki, Kaimuki, Makiki, Nuuanu, Kapalama, Salt Lake, Nimitz, Aiea, Pearl City, Pearlridge, Pali, LikeLike, Kalaeloa, Kapolei and Ewa Beach.  To be an official member of the street team so that we may notify you of our special events where we need help and volunteers, email us at info@my959.com.  Let us know you want to help spread the word and volunteer at our upcoming events.  Sample activities include passing out flyers and business cards, hanging up posters, participating with My 95.9 in parades, manning booths at conventions, passing out promotional materials at special events, clubs, schools, and places of business, etc.  The street team is the most essential part of our marketing efforts.  Anyone can be on the Street Team by just spreading the word anywhere you go.  GO HERE to download our promotional materials that you can print out and take with you anywhere you go to help spread the word about Hawaii’s Dance Station.  Let’s plaster Oahu with My 95.9 so that everyone knows Hawaii’s Dance Station is here to stay!  Remember, to email us at info@my959.com if you want to be notified of official special events where we will need your help.  Mahalo!

ANNOUNCERS

MY 95.9 FM is in need of announcers!  Become a My 95.9 fm on air
personality!  The pay is low, in fact, there isn't any!  But the rewards are
great!  Qualifications include:

A love for dance music
A computer that can record your voice over a bed of high energy dance beats
A consistent commitment to making recordings in advance of your shift
A good attitude and willingness to push what the station management needs
you to push during your drop ins
